The most beautiful National Park in US. We visited in June 2015. Drove from Yellowstone to Glacier National Park (St. Mary Lodge) with a lunch break in Bozeman. a very Long day as wife had food poisoning. Not sure how she sat in the car, I was ready to stay along the route. Very remote part of the country, Make sure you have a reliable car, full tank of gas and enough emergency supplies.

Many Glacier Hotel with Swiftcurrent lake in the background – After breakfast at Mary lodge, we spent the day at Many glacier are. Took the boat ride across Swiftcurrent lake and lake Josephine. Beautiful and very remote part of the park. A great spot for 2-3 day back packing hikes to the glaciers. Many Glacier Hotel is a Swiss type chalet with view from every room. If you have to stay here, book on park website the day they open reservations (2nd week of January)

Day 2 – Hike#1. St, Mary Falls. Beautiful hike with trail head along the going to the sun road.
Hike 2 – Trail head at Logan visitor center. Little chilly, however it was one of the most beautiful day. Daughter was not feel well but she was all smiles.
Hike with the family to the hidden lake view point from Logan pass Visitor center. 2 mile hike. The first glimpse of the hidden lake takes your breath away. Even in late June half the trail was covered with snow.
